Did they leave?

I thought I would just sart a discussion about Israel...
There are questions that I guess are pretty stupid but
I like to ensure that the basic questions so all ignorance
is vanquished...So my first questions are like this...
What are Jews?  Where did they live before Jesus and
more importantly where did they go after?  Someone has
told me that they just left the Middle East...I said He
was nuts because I'm reluctant to go to Superstore by
bus to buy Groceries even when the hunger hurts...Logically
there must be one lazy Jew who wouldn't like to say walk
to Egypt, even a camel ride seems unappealing....Now that
I have asked my ignorant questions...I'll google it...

The Roman army led by Titus conquered Jerusalem and
destroyed the Second Temple at 70 CE. Jewish people
were then exiled and dispersed to the Diaspora. In 132,
Bar Kokhba organized a revolt against Roman rule, but
was killed in a battle in Bethar in Judean Hills. Subsequently
the Romans decimated the Jewish community, renamed
Jerusalem as Aelia Capitolina and Judea as Palaestina to
obliterate Jewish identification with the Land of Israel
(the word Palestine, and the Arabic word Filastin
originate from this Latin name)....This is some google
results...noted that this was over a period of time...
But it seems that they got mad at the Jews...I hear that
they listen to them sometimes like when killing their savior...
Oh those Romans....

My friend used the analogy...Of a the holyland
the house of the Jews?  Is it religious to come after 2000
years and say to a homeowner that the house they have
been living in for 2000 years is not theirs?  Is this jihad
though...the tables turned on the Muslims?  My friend
adamantly says that Jihad is only used for defense...
but he also says that you must die before you leave your home...
I don't agree with this however...If you are going to be
slaughtered as well as your family...I think maybe it is
your responsiblilty to take your family elsewhere.  But how
ironical that they come again with money, weapons (nuclear in fact),
and destroy the homes and by war do more home destruction
of others...Is this hypocritical?  I don't like hypocrites too much...
but then again to have a faith and culture that is secure they
need a homeland (Quebec argument)....Ha Ha....What a paradox....
Maybe the problem is inflexible thought...and there is where
we talk of hard-liners, extremeists and orthodox believers on
both sides....they should all be put on a boat ...they'd proabably
all drown before they got anywhere...beat each other with the
oars...Probably all they could COOPERATE doing.  But when
they start COOPERATING killing each other...those guys are
beautifully efficient.  I guess it is the circle...

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life...

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

The City Of Champs calls Iggy their own...Hehe Monica, Geoff...With the U of A!
