Beautiful Day isn't it? Or is it?

What is Beauty? What makes a person beautiful? Is there a difference between attraction and beauty? I have thought things like water and air beautiful...For they are invisible and without it we are at a loss of life...I think the most beautiful thing is a person's smile...Beauty makes you happy I believe..But what about the woman who looks at the Taj Mahal and says it is so beautiful but in her heart is sad because of the story of it's creation...What do I think is beautiful in people...A sense of humour...with it you have control over any sadness...For in making another laugh there is an even greater happiness in your heart...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...So if you have a positive attitude...Your optimism turns the world more beautiful...Like an illusion beauty is infinate and nothing at the same time...With an open heart you can show the world beauty...Have you created beauty? OF course not...It was already there...What is the oppisite of beauty...ugliness...Is it ironic that when people look at the world they only see ugliness...Is it possible that this ugliness is actually beautiful? So it is how they have said in the buddhist teachings...We live in illusion..It guides us to oasis in deserts or does it lead us to madness...It is what we have God or not...Choice...What do we choose to see? Perspective is so important...Look from the eyes of a muslim, an iraqi, a christian, a buddhist, a hindu...The similarities are astounding...The differences are not substantial...What would you do if you were God? Everything...Or nothing...We as humans may cry out "Why me Lord? You do nothing while the world suffers" but maybe God has done everything in order for the lessons to be learnt...We must suffer to understand that we do not want to suffer...We must learn from pain in order to fix the wounds...We like an athelete who trains himself with technique and mental preparation as well as physical exertion will be a stronger world when we finally learn the ancient lessons...The noble path...The middle way...We stray...We suffer...But we know where the journey leads us...One World...One People...One future
